- South Africa beat India by five wickets in 13.5 overs in a rain-shortened T20 match. The hosts lead the three-match series 1-0 after the first one was washed out in Durban on Sunday.
- Reeze Hendricks and Aiden Markram led South Africa’s chase while Tristan Stubbs and Andile Phehlukwayo finished it after a mid-innings wobble.
- Rinku Singh was the top scorer for India with 68 while captain Suryakumar Yadav scored 56 as rain stopped play in the 19th over with India 180-7. Gerald Coetzee took three wickets for 32 runs in 3.3 overs.
- The third and final T20 will be played at The Wanderers in Johannesburg on Thursday, December 14.
